The 1812 Overture just popped up on my Spotify playlist. I’m a fan of Tchaikovsky’s Overture. I heard/saw/experienced it one time at a performance of the RNSO in an evening concert at Glamis Castle. Real canons! Cannoneers in period costumes! What more could a guy from Dust Bowl Country ask for?
